family fun...

We received these two games for Christmas and have played them several times over the past few days.

Apples to Apples is our favorite- you have to match nouns to adverbs/verbs, but you have to get creative in the process. Sometimes you have to defend your choice, which gets noisy and funny. Hhmm...must be why it's a favorite, my kids LOVE to tell you what they think!

Pictureka is like I Spy, you have to find certain items in a certain amount of time, sometimes on your own, sometimes against other players. I'm not very good at this game, the kids can find things way faster than me. My eyes tend to just roam the boards.

We love to play games- does your family have a favorite?

We LOVE Apples to Apples. It is a great group game for so many ages. Luke got Hullabaloo for christmas, which I love for his age. I was actually going to write a blog about it soon, along with some of my other current favorites. It's by Cranium, and I tend to really like their games.

We really like Taboo. Everyone wants to press that annoying buzzer.

Also when my dad was a rapid golfer it seemed like we played Monopoly Golf all the time... BORING!

Happy New Years!
