My "interview" was AWESOME!!!
It was a "talk", for about an hour, with a principal friend that I knew as a teacher when I taught in CCSD years ago. He spent the first 30 minutes updating me on the district changes and his school; the next 15 with me showing him my scrapbook and talking about me; and then another 15 showing me around the school. We shared ideas and just TALKED...it was the BEST interview I have ever had!!! He made me feel appreciated and valued as a teacher, unlike a couple other interviews where I was told I was not on the "cutting edge" because I'd been out of public schools for 10 years. Yes, I have a lot to learn, but he agreed with me that materials and methods change, but good teaching never does!
Bottom line...he would like for me to come work at his school and I WOULD TOO- but he is waiting on the position to officially open. He is also going to be sure to share my name with some other principals who he knows have openings. BUT I WOULD SO LOVE TO WORK FOR HIM AT HIS SCHOOL!
God is so good and He will show me through this...I told my friend that, too, because he is a Christian (that's another reason why I'd love to work there). I am just so blessed and thankful today for a wonderful conversation and validity that I AM A TEACHER.
I'm gonna have an incredible weekend! I hope you do, too. Thanks for your prayers, keep praying for me because PRAYER WORKS.

I just love how God answers prayer in His own time, and in His own way. Good for you for trusting Him enough to hand it over and let Him put you where He knows you need to be. So happy 4U!!
Yay, Ann, that is awesome! I bet that is a major pick me up from the blinking red light. There is way too much of people pointing out faults, so it just makes you feel so good when someone acknowledges that, yes, you have worth and there are acutally things about you that are good. Anyway, we'll definitely keep praying, that is great. :)
