things I love about Mullet Hall...

...sleeping late...

...a rustic country house...

...boiled peanuts...

...good fishing...

...peace and quiet...

...the hammock...

...hanging out with family...

...shopping Freshfields...

...warm chocolate chip cookies...

...scrapbooking...

...watching bad TV...

...picking peaches and eating them warm...

...wildflowers...

...hydrangea bouquets...

...going to the beach...

...last-night fish fry and red rice...

...the porch swing...

...open fields to run in...

...the chow hall...

...homemade chicken salad...

...huge spanish-moss covered oak trees...

...egrets and herons in the marsh out your back door...

...happy, care-free, dirty kids...

By "homemade" chicken salad, do you mean "homemade by the nice ladies at Fresh Fields"?

I have to agree with your list, with a few additions...

...the kids learning to ride their bikes in an open field...

...riding to the fishing hole without a seatbelt...

...listening to our hubbies brag on how well they run at Mullet Hall...

...daydreaming about pooling our money and buying the property and living there forever...

...spending a week with 10 of your closest relatives and never hearing a harsh word...

...the beautiful surroundings that remind me of God's hand creating all this JUST FOR US...

I posted my own thoughts on Mullet Hall - including some pix. Haven't finished yet, but the kids made the blog - just like I promised :-)
